I was excited to read this book since many people seem to love the series. Sadly, it didn't work for me. The tell-not-show infodump in the first chapter made my eyes cross and I was more annoyed than charmed by the Sullivans and their various talents. Then Chase meets Chloe, a damsel in distress who has clearly suffered abuse at the hands of some man, and turns into a creep - possessive and lecherous - within minutes. By 15%, he was already saying "He was never, ever going to share Chloe with anyone." I kept going for a while after that but finally decided there are plenty of other books I'd rather spend my time reading.
