Barefoot in the Sand - Roxanne St. Claire I liked the May-December romance, the setting, and even the ex-lover drama in this novel, my first from Roxanne St. Claire. My problem was that the drama over Lacey's business seemed way too drawn-out, and my eyes glazed over during those passages. I also wasn't really invested in the characters of Lacey's best friends. I understand St. Claire was trying to set up their future books, but Lacey's story didn't get the full weight it deserved because of it. However, I am very intrigued by Zoe's relationship with a former lover (married!), and I'll most likely read that book but I won't be counting the days until it's published.
