Marian's Christmas Wish - Carla Kelly Full review published here:

I'm conflicted about this book, because while I found it very silly and even irritating at times, I stayed up way past bedtime to read it. That must mean something.

My main issue was with the book was that the heroine was very immature - and she was only 16! - and no matter how much I liked her, I couldn't get past her immaturity. On the other hand, I LOVED the hero. I think that's why I stuck with the book - I wanted him to have his HEA even if I don't think Marian was quite ready for her own. Marian's family was supposed to be charming and quirky, but they were really rather annoying. If you're looking for a light, slightly inane romance that is peripherally Christmas-related, you may like this book.
