I knew I should never have succumbed to the pressure to read this book - now I'm going to have to read the whole damn series! I'm not a paranormal fan, but that didn't stop me from a) totally buying into Ward's world-building; and b) loving this book. Yes, Wrath and has brothers are VERY alpha (just a shade away from being obnoxiously so), but Beth is a pretty tough cookie herself. And as for the romance between Wrath and Beth - whew! *fans self* Very well done. A highly recommended read for PNR fans and non-believers alike.
